DAILY REFLECTION: TRUE PEACE
May 5, 2026
Readings: Acts 14:19–28; Psalm 145:10–11, 12–13ab, 21; John 14:27–31a
Jesus gives a peace that is different from the world. The world offers peace when everything goes well, but Jesus gives peace even in uncertainty. That is why He says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.” This is not just advice—it is a promise that He Himself is present with us.
In life, we often feel anxious when things don’t go according to plan. We look for security in external circumstances, yet true peace comes from our relationship with God. Jesus shows that obedience to the Father is the path to peace, even when it involves challenges.
Today, we are invited to trust: whatever happens, God is still in control. Do not let fear dominate your heart—allow the peace of Christ to fill your life.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, fill my heart with Your peace. Teach me to trust and not be afraid in every situation. Amen.
