DAILY SCRIPTURE REFLECTION: I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD

📖 Today’s Readings: Acts 19:1–8 | Psalm 68 | John 16:29–33

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

Jesus never promised a life without problems. There will be challenges, pressure, disappointment, and struggles that can weaken our hearts. But the Lord gives us a powerful promise: “I have overcome the world.” This means that whatever we face today, Christ has already won the victory.

In the first reading, when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples in Ephesus, their lives were transformed. Those who were once limited in understanding and courage became filled with strength, passion, and boldness. The Holy Spirit enabled them to move forward and live with greater power.

Often, what defeats us is not the problem itself, but fear, discouragement, and the loss of hope. That is why the Lord calls us to keep believing. When we walk with God, His peace strengthens us to overcome every struggle we face.

Do not give up. Do not stop moving forward. God is still working, and with Him there is always hope and victory.

Short Prayer:
Lord Jesus, strengthen our hearts to remain faithful and trusting in every situation. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may live in Your peace and victory. Amen.
