THAT THEY MAY ALL BE ONE

DAILY REFLECTION OF GOD’S WORD: THAT THEY MAY ALL BE ONE

Thursday, May 21, 2026

📖 Today’s Readings: Acts 22:30;23:6–11 | Psalm 16 | John 17:20–26

In today’s Gospel, Jesus prays not only for His disciples, but also for all of us who believe in Him. His prayer is beautiful and profound: “That they may all be one.” God desires unity, love, and harmony among His people. Unity does not mean we must all be the same, but that we live with hearts that love, support, and walk together toward the same purpose in God.

In the first reading, Paul faces pressure and threats. Yet the Lord comes to strengthen him: “Take courage!” God never leaves Paul alone. In the same way, amid our struggles, conflicts, and challenges, God continues to be with us and strengthen us.

Today’s Psalm reminds us that the Lord is our inheritance and protection. When our hearts remain close to Him, we receive peace and the right direction for life.

In a world easily divided by ego, jealousy, and differences, God calls us to become instruments of peace and unity — in our families, communities, Church, workplaces, and ministries.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, unite our hearts in Your love. Teach us to strengthen one another instead of tearing each other down. Give us humble hearts, full of love, and faithful in walking with You. Amen.

God bless us all ❤️, Manuntun Sitinjak
