TODAY’S REFLECTION: Remain in the Lord
Wednesday, May 6, 2026
Readings: Acts 15:1–6; Psalm 122:1–2, 3–4a, 4b–5; John 15:1–8
Jesus said, “I am the true vine, and you are the branches.” A branch cannot bear fruit if it is separated from the vine. The same is true for our lives. When we drift away from God, prayer becomes weaker, our hearts grow tired, and we easily lose peace and direction. But when we remain in Him, our lives begin to bear fruit: love, patience, peace, joy, and hope.
In Acts, the disciples gathered together to seek God’s will. This reminds us that spiritual growth is not meant to happen alone, but through fellowship, guidance, and openness to God’s direction. The Psalm also speaks about the joy of going to the house of the Lord and living in unity with His people.
Let us remain close to God every day through prayer, His Word, and acts of love. A person who stays connected to the Lord will not only grow personally, but will also become a blessing to many others.
Lord, help us remain in You so that our lives may bear fruit that glorifies Your name. Amen.
God bless us all ❤️
