📖 Today’s Readings: 1 Peter 1:18–25 | Psalm 147 | Mark 10:32–45
In today’s Gospel, Jesus teaches something very different from the way the world thinks. While the disciples were thinking about positions and honor, Jesus spoke about service and sacrifice. He said that whoever wants to become great must become a servant to others.
Jesus Himself gave the perfect example. He came not to be served, but to serve and to give His life for many. This is true love: being willing to give, help, and sacrifice for the good of others.
The first reading also reminds us that we were redeemed by the precious and holy blood of Christ. Therefore, our lives should reflect love, humility, sincerity, and a heart willing to serve.
Today, God invites us to have the heart of a servant. Not seeking praise or position, but becoming a blessing to others through simple acts of kindness, care, love, and faithfulness in everyday life.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach me to have a humble heart and a willingness to serve sincerely. Use my life to become a blessing to others and to glorify Your name through every act of love that I do. Amen.
God bless us all ❤️
