FAITH, PRAYER, AND A FRUITFUL LIFE

TODAY'S GOD'S WORD REFLECTION: FAITH, PRAYER, AND A FRUITFUL LIFE

Friday, May 29, 2026

📖 Today's Readings: 1 Peter 4:7–13 | Psalm 96:10–13 | Mark 11:11–26

In today’s Gospel, Jesus curses the fig tree that bore no fruit. Although it appeared healthy from the outside, it produced nothing. Through this, the Lord reminds us that the Christian life is not about appearances alone. True faith must bear fruit through love, faithfulness, forgiveness, service, and a life that glorifies God.

Jesus also teaches about the power of faith-filled prayer: “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” God invites us to pray with confidence, a pure heart, and a willingness to forgive others. In the first reading, Saint Peter encourages believers to live wisely, love one another deeply, use their gifts in service, and rejoice even when facing trials for the sake of Christ.

Today, the Lord calls us not merely to look spiritual, but to live a life that truly bears fruit. A living faith is revealed through concrete actions, sincere love, and unwavering trust in God.

Prayer:
Lord, teach us to live fruitful lives, remain faithful in prayer, and trust You in every circumstance. Help us become channels of Your love and blessings to those around us. Amen.

May God bless us all ❤️
