TODAY’S DAILY REFLECTION: JESUS PRAYS FOR US
Tuesday, May 19, 2026
📖 Today’s Readings: Acts 20:17–27 | Psalm 68 | John 17:1–11a
“Jesus prayed for them.” (John 17:9)
As Jesus approached His suffering and death, He was not focused on Himself. Instead, He prayed for His disciples. Jesus knew they would face challenges, fear, and many struggles. Therefore, He entrusted them to the Father so they could remain strong and faithful.
The same is true in our lives today. Sometimes we feel tired, disappointed, or alone in facing life’s problems. But today’s Gospel reminds us that God never leaves us. Jesus knows every struggle we face, and He prays for us.
In the first reading, Paul showed great faithfulness in his ministry. Even through hardships and tears, he continued to fulfill his mission wholeheartedly. Faithfulness in small things and throughout the process of life is pleasing to God.
Today, God invites us to remain faithful, keep moving forward, continue serving, and trust that He is always with us.
Prayer:
Lord, strengthen me to remain faithful in walking with You in every situation. Amen.
God bless us all ❤️
