TODAY'S GOD'S WORD REFLECTION: A HEART THAT SEEKS THE TRUTH

📖 Today's Readings: Jude 17–25 | Psalm 63:2–6 | Mark 11:27–33
In today’s Gospel, the chief priests, scribes, and elders questioned Jesus by asking, “By what authority are You doing these things?” Their question seemed religious, but their hearts were not truly seeking the truth. They had seen the works of Jesus, yet they remained closed, doubtful, and unwilling to recognize the authority of God working through Him.
The first reading from Jude reminds us to build our lives on our most holy faith, to pray in the Holy Spirit, and to remain in the love of God. Faith must not become weak because of confusion, pride, or the influence of others. Instead, we are called to stay close to God and allow His mercy to guide our hearts.
The Psalm expresses a beautiful longing for God: “My soul thirsts for You.” This is the heart that pleases the Lord—a heart that is humble, open, and hungry for His presence. When we truly seek God, we become more willing to listen, to learn, and to follow His will.
Today, the Lord invites us to examine our hearts. Do we come to Him with humility, or do we question Him with pride? A sincere heart will always find God’s light, because God reveals Himself to those who truly seek Him.
Prayer:
Lord, give us humble hearts that sincerely seek Your truth. Help us to remain strong in faith, open to Your guidance, and faithful to Your will each day. Amen.
May God bless us all ❤️
