Reflection of God's Words Today: HERE I AM, LORD; I DELIGHT TO DO YOUR WILL
In Mark 3:7-12, we see Jesus surrounded by crowds desperate for healing and salvation. His actions reveal God’s immense compassion and His desire to restore us completely. In Hebrews 7:25-8:6, we are reminded that Jesus is our eternal High Priest, who intercedes for us unceasingly, offering a perfect covenant that bridges heaven and earth. Psalm 40:7-11 invites us to embrace God’s will joyfully and proclaim His faithfulness boldly.
These passages come together to highlight Jesus as the fulfillment of God’s promise—the One who heals, saves, and draws us into a deeper relationship with the Father. They also inspire us to respond with faith, obedience, and a readiness to proclaim His love to the world. Like the psalmist, we are called to say, “Here I am, Lord; I delight to do Your will.”
Let us reflect:
- Am I approaching Jesus with faith, trusting in His power to heal and guide me?
- How am I proclaiming His goodness and faithfulness in my life?
Prayer
Loving Father,
We thank You for Your Word that inspires, heals, and strengthens us. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, our eternal High Priest, You have given us the perfect example of obedience and love. Help us to approach You with faith, trusting in Your mercy and grace.
Teach us, Lord, to delight in doing Your will. May we echo the psalmist’s words, “Here I am, Lord,” offering our lives as a response to Your call. Fill us with the courage and joy to proclaim Your faithfulness to others, becoming witnesses of Your love and compassion.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, may we grow in holiness and trust in Your plan for our lives. We ask this through Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
