BELIEVE, PERSEVERE, AND GROW

Today's Reflection on God's Word

Many times in life, we feel like our efforts and prayers are not yielding results. We wonder if God is truly at work. Today’s readings teach us that even when we don’t see immediate results, God is faithfully working behind the scenes.

In Mark 4:26-34, Jesus compares the Kingdom of God to a seed that is sown. The farmer does not understand how it grows, but in due time, it produces a harvest. Similarly, our faith grows through a process that we may not always see, but God is actively nurturing it.

However, growth in faith requires perseverance. Hebrews 10:32-39 reminds us not to shrink back in the face of trials. We must endure, trusting that God's promises will be fulfilled for those who remain faithful. Difficulties should not make us give up—victory is reserved for those who keep moving forward in faith.

So how do we remain strong? Psalm 37:3-6, 23-24, 39-40 provides the answer: Trust in the Lord and do good, and He will guide your steps. The Lord sustains us when we stumble and is our refuge in times of trouble.

Today's Message:
To believe in God means to keep walking, even when we don’t see the results. To persevere in faith means not giving up when trials arise. To grow means allowing God to work in our lives, just like a seed that slowly develops into a strong tree.

Prayer:
"Lord, I trust that You are always at work in my life, even when I don’t see the results. Give me strength to persevere through challenges and continue growing in faith. I surrender each step of my journey to You. Amen."
