Today's Reflection on God's Word: Your Plan is Great, Lord, for My Salvation
We often struggle to understand God’s plan. Just like Peter, who rejected the idea of Jesus having to suffer (Mark 8:27-33), we, too, tend to seek an easier path. However, God always has a greater plan.
In Genesis 9:1-13, God gave the rainbow as a sign of His covenant after the flood, demonstrating His love and faithfulness to humanity. Meanwhile, Psalm 102 reminds us that God hears the prayers of His people and will restore them.
Jesus came as the ultimate fulfillment of this promise—not through worldly glory, but through the cross. We may not always understand God's ways, but they are the best path for our salvation.
Prayer:
"Lord, teach me to trust in Your plan, even when I struggle to understand it. Help me to accept Your will with faith, just as Jesus was obedient until the end. Amen."
May God bless us all,
