Reflection on God’s Word Today: Trust in God's Plan and Be Grateful!
Today's readings (Genesis 8:6-13, 20-22; Mark 8:22-26; Psalm 116:12-13, 14-15, 18-19) teach us that God works through a process. Noah waited for signs before leaving the ark, the blind man in Bethsaida was healed gradually, and the psalmist expressed gratitude for God’s salvation.
Often, we desire instant answers and miracles. However, God teaches us patience and trust in His timing. Faith grows step by step, just as the blind man first saw blurry shapes before finally seeing clearly.
When we experience God’s blessings, we must respond with gratitude. Like Noah, who offered a sacrifice, and the psalmist, who vowed to praise the Lord, we are also called to live with thanksgiving and faith in action.
Short Prayer:
Lord, teach me to trust Your process. Even when I cannot see clearly, I believe You are working in my life. Thank You for Your countless blessings. Amen.
