REFLECTION ON THE WORD: LIVING BY FAITH AND SURRENDERING TO THE LORD
Scripture Readings:
1 John 5:5–13 | Luke 5:12–16
A leper came to Jesus with sincere faith, saying: “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” He did not make demands; instead, he surrendered himself completely to the will of the Lord. Jesus touched him and restored him—a sign that faith, rooted in trust and surrender, opens the door for God’s work of love. Today’s readings affirm that faith in Christ brings life and victory because it is God Himself who is at work.
In our lives, we are called to place our full trust in the Lord—believing that in every step, struggle, and effort, God is working alongside us, perfecting our lives according to His divine will.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach us to trust You completely and to surrender to Your will. We believe that You are the one who works within us and restores our lives. Amen.
May God bless us all ❤️,
