Today's Reflection: True Repentance and Loving God and Neighbor
In Mark 12:28b-34, Jesus teaches that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. This love is not just a feeling, but a way of life.
Hosea 14:2-10 reminds us that true love for God begins with repentance. When we return to Him with a sincere heart, He promises healing and restoration.
Psalm 81 expresses God's longing for His people to listen and obey. He desires to bless us abundantly, but often we turn away from His voice.
These readings call us to realign our hearts: to love God above all, to turn from sin, and to show love through our actions toward others. When we do, we open ourselves to God's abundant grace and peace.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to truly repent and love You with all my heart. Help me to reflect that love in the way I treat others each day. May Your love guide my steps. Amen.
God bless,
