Today's Reflection: God's Mercy and Repentance that Transforms Our Hearts and Lives

Today's readings invite us to reflect on God's great mercy and compassion. In Daniel 9:4b-10, the people of Israel recognize their sins and ask forgiveness from the merciful Lord. Psalm 79 becomes a cry of the people, pleading for God's mercy and deliverance.
In Luke 6:36-38, Jesus calls us to be merciful as the Father is merciful—not to judge, not to condemn, but to forgive and give generously.
If God is always patient and forgiving toward us, should we not also forgive others and stop judging them? True repentance transforms the heart, making us people of compassion and love, as God has shown His love to us.
Today, let us sincerely repent, ask God's forgiveness, and start loving others unconditionally.

Prayer:
Merciful God,
forgive me for my many sins.
Soften my heart to forgive others,
to avoid judging, and to be generous.
Make me a witness of Your love,
so my life may glorify You.
Amen.
