Today's Reflection: God Is Our Faithful Helper, He Always Listens to Our Prayers

Readings:

• Esther (Additions) 4:10a.10c-12.17-19
• Psalm 138:1-3, 7c-8
• Matthew 7:7-12

Dear brothers and sisters,
Today we are reminded that God is our faithful Helper, always present and listening to our prayers. Queen Esther, in the Book of Esther (Additions), came to God with fear and humility, saying:
"Help me, who am alone and have no one but You, Lord."
She trusted that only God could save her and her people.

In Psalm 138, the psalmist proclaims:
"On the day I called, You answered me, You increased the strength of my soul."
This is a reminder that God always answers and strengthens us when we pray.

In Matthew 7:7-12, Jesus teaches us to never hesitate to pray:
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you."
God, our loving Father, always gives the best to His children.

So, let us never grow tired of praying, always trusting that God listens and acts in His time.

Closing Prayer

O good and faithful God,
You are always ready to listen and help us.
Like Esther, teach us to come humbly before You.
Like the psalmist, may we always give thanks for Your love.
As Jesus teaches us, may we always ask, seek, and knock without fear.
Strengthen us to face life's challenges and to share Your love with others.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
