Today's Reflection: Repentance and Love Lead to Life
Today's Word of God from Ezekiel 18:21-28, Matthew 5:20-26, and Psalm 130:1-8 teaches us that God always opens a way for anyone who wants to repent. God does not desire the death of the sinner, but that they turn back and live. However, repentance is not only about our relationship with God, but also about our relationship with others. In the Gospel, Jesus emphasizes the importance of reconciling with others before coming to God. This means that a heart free from resentment, anger, and hatred is essential for true repentance.
Meanwhile, Psalm 130 reminds us that God is full of steadfast love and forgiveness, so we should not be afraid to come to Him with a contrite heart.
Let us come to the Lord, repent sincerely, and choose the path of love that leads to life.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to truly repent, to leave behind sin, and to be reconciled with others. Thank You for Your steadfast love that restores my life. Amen.
God bless us all,
