Holy Spirit, gentle breath of God,
I open the door of my heart wide for You.
Come—stay with me,
dwell not just for a moment, but forevermore.
Let my heart be Your resting place,
a sanctuary for Your holy presence.
When You are near, my soul is calm.
When You remain, I am alive.
Let Your peace flow through every beat of my heart,
and Your love echo in every corner of my soul.
Stay, O Spirit—don’t rush away.
Linger in the silence between my thoughts.
Let the whisper of Your presence
linger like fragrance long after the breeze is gone.
Mark me with Your light.
Leave traces of heaven in all I do.
I long for You…
More than morning longs for light,
more than silence longs for song.
Stay and linger, Holy Spirit,
forever in the depths of me.
