Reflection on God’s Word Today:Jesus on the Cross is the Source of Salvation — Believe in Him!
In Numbers 21:4-9, the Israelites were punished for grumbling against God. But when they repented, God told Moses to lift up a bronze serpent; anyone who looked at it was healed. This became a prophetic image of Jesus.
In John 8:21-30, Jesus says, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He." The cross is not just a symbol of suffering, but the highest expression of love and the way to salvation.
Jesus is the fulfillment of the bronze serpent—whoever looks to Him and believes will not perish, but receive eternal life.
Today, in our weakness, sin, or despair, let us lift our eyes to the cross of Christ. Believe—He is the only way to be saved. Don’t wait until judgment; know Him today, and live.
The cross of Christ is love that saves. Believe and surrender.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are my Savior. On the cross, You showed perfect love. When I fall or feel weak, remind me to look to Your cross and believe. Strengthen my faith, transform my heart, and lead me to eternal life with You. Amen.
