REFLECTION ON GOD’S WORD: LOVE THAT MULTIPLIES (060126)
Readings:
1 John 4:7–10
Mark 6:34–44
Love always begins with God. In the first reading, we are reminded that God loved us first. This love is not merely a feeling, but a concrete action. Today’s Gospel shows this clearly as Jesus is moved by compassion. From five loaves and two fish, He feeds thousands until all are satisfied.
True love does not wait for abundance; it is willing to give even in limitation. When love is lived with faith and obedience, God Himself multiplies it and makes it a blessing for many.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to love through real actions and to trust that You multiply every act of love I offer. Amen.
