Reflection on God’s Word Today: Jesus is the Only Way, the Truth, and the Life

Acts 13:26–33
John 14:1–6

In life’s journey, there are moments when we feel anxious, uncertain, or even hopeless. But today, Jesus Himself speaks to us: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in Me” (John 14:1). These gentle yet powerful words invite us to trust Him completely.

Jesus continues with a bold and eternal truth: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). This is not just a promise—it is the ultimate reality. Only through Jesus can we reach the Father and receive true life.

In the first reading, Paul confirms this by proclaiming: “To us this message of salvation has been sent” (Acts 13:26). Jesus, who was crucified and raised by God, is the fulfillment of the promises made to our ancestors. “What God promised our ancestors He has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus” (Acts 13:32–33).

Today, we are reminded that salvation is not just a story of the past—it is present and alive in the person of Jesus Christ. So, when life feels dark or full of uncertainty, let us turn our hearts to the One true Way—Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are the only Way that leads us to the Father. When my heart is troubled and the path unclear, teach me to trust fully in You. Fill me with peace and renew my spirit, so I may walk in the light of Your love. Amen.
